Port Director / CEO Port of Oslo Ingvar M. Mathisen is the Port Director / CEO of Port of Oslo and is leading a renewed focus on the core business; i.e. port development and increasing cargo and passenger throughput – incl. for cruise. He holds a M.Sc. in Business from USA. Port of Oslo’s vision is: The world’s most efficient and environmental friendly city near port”. With bold growth goals, the new mantra of Port of Oslo is “We shall grow in all of our business segments, while the emissions shall be reduced”. This is a task that only can be achieved in close collaboration with our customers, technology providers and local and national authorities. Mr. Mathisen is the current President of Norwegian Ports (with 60 member ports) and has previously been Port Director of Port of Bodø in Northern Norway for 12 years, Chairman of Cruise Norway and member of the Council of Cruise Europe.
