Business development consultant Marmedsa Cruise Services Founder and CEO of MSic, Mario is now working with Marmedsa Cruise Services as a business development advisor since October 2021. After his chemistry university studies and post-graduate course in tourism management in ESADE, Mario started in 1989 at the operations department of the family travel agency, Viajes Formentor, when he realized how the cruise industry worked and the potential that Spain had for such. Ever since he has always been one step ahead of the market developing businesses to offer all Cruise companies the newest and brightest solutions. On his more than 30 years in the industry Mario created BC Group, a group of companies that covered all Spanish Ports offering all kind of shore side services. Not only to Cruise ships, but also giving assistance to navy, cargo, yachts, etc. in America, Middle and Far East. From 2009 to 2016 he served Italy as an Honorary Consul in Mallorca and Menorca Islands. After selling BC Group on 2018, he has continued his journey and sharing his knowledge as an advisor for companies such: Alsa/National Express and Marmedsa/Noatum amongst others
