Chairman & CEO Global Ports Holding Founding shareholder, Chairman and CEO at Global Investment Holdings and Global Ports Holdings Plc. Mr. Kutman is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Global Ports Holding Plc. The founding shareholder of the company and its parent company, Global Investment Holdings, Mr. Kutman is actively involved in business development at the Company level. Mr. Kutman also serves on the boards of directors of several of Global Investment Holdings’ operating subsidiaries and affiliates, including Global Ports Holding, and energy sector companies involved in natural gas distribution, power generation and mining. Prior to founding the antecessor to the Company in 1990, Mr. Kutman was Project Manager at Net Holding A.Ş., a Turkish corporate group involved in tourism and odier related sectors, from 1989 to 1990. Between 1984 and 1989, he resided in the United States, where he served as Vice President at North Carolina National Bank, Sexton Roses Inc. and Philip Bush & Associates. Mr. Kutman holds a BA (Hons.) from Boğaziçi University and an MBA from the University of Texas. Mr. Kutman plays a vital role in Yale’s Brain Tumor Research, a program which aims to gain further understanding on the formation of brain tumors and development of improved therapies, as well as various cancer research activities worldwide through the Gregory M. Kiez and Mehmet Kutman Foundation.
