David is well known at the International Cruise Summit having been Conference Director for 5 years from 2019-2023. Since moderating his first ever discussion panel which was at ICS in T2012, he has gone on to moderate panels and direct conferences across Europe, the USA, Canada, Russia and China and is looking forward to returning to Madrid to moderate the popular sales and marketing discussion on Tuesday 18th November.

He is Managing Partner at Travelyields Ltd (www.travelyields.com) and works with a number of port/destination partners to help them maximise their cruise calls, whilst in addition researches and produces bespoke market study reports supporting investment decisions relating to port expansion and funding.
He was managing director of Thomson Cruises – now Marella Cruises - from 2000-2011. He lives with his family north of London, is a keen golfer, plays trumpet and bass guitar and is passionate to support the development of young adults with learning difficulties
