"An innovative all-rounder" - The pillars that have defined Francesca’s professional career are initiating, promoting, planning and managing projects, as well as communicating and transmitting knowledge.

After a period dedicated to teaching, she has focused her career on external relations, marketing and commercial management. Since 2015, she has been responsible for cruise traffic at the Port of Valencia, working towards making it a socially and environmentally sustainable port and cruise destination.
Born in Switzerland, Francesca arrived in Spain 23 years ago and holds a Master's degree in Ports Management and Intermodal Transport, as well as in Intercultural Communication and Diversity Management. She is a member of the ESPO Cruise and Ferries Commission (European Sea Ports Organisation) and has been a regular lecturer on the 'Modern Port Management' courses organised by UNCTAD (United Nations Conference on Trade and Development) for the past 10 years. She also teaches at the Universidad Europea de Valencia.
