Mr. Omar Al Jaber currently serves as the Chief of the Tourism Development Sector, he is responsible for overseeing the Tourism Licensing and Control, Tourism Experience and Product Development departments.
Mr. Omar also holds the position of Director of Shared Services at Qatar Tourism, where he leads and oversees several key departments including Finance, Procurement, IT and HR. With over 18 years of experience in the fields of Administration, HR, Finance, and Customer Service, Al Jaber maintains a strong background in establishing key business development relationships.In 2022, Mr. Omar was appointed as the Executive Director of Accommodation at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, to support the fulfilment of the world’s biggest sporting event, the FIFA World CupTM. During this time, Al Jaber oversaw the exceptional work of creating unique and seamless accommodation experiences for fans and visitors.Mr. Omar Al Jaber holds an Executive Master of Business Administration from GSM London.
