Born in 1960, Osman Erler began his career in tourism in 1988 with travel agency management. In the 2000s, he served as Guest Relations Manager onboard MS Ocean Majesty, gaining solid expertise in passenger relations, cruise operations, and hospitality.

During the 2010s, he became Cruise Director at Anı Tour, where he developed cruise packages that helped expand the cruise holiday market in Turkey. He also held senior management positions at Apex Tour and Cruise Holidays Turkey, overseeing both operational and commercial activities.
In 2020, Erler was appointed General Manager of Miray International Cruises & Management. He revitalized Turkey-based cruise operations and, in 2022, introduced the Gemini ship on 3–4 night itineraries from Kusadasi to Santorini, Mykonos,Crete, Patmos, Rhodes and Athens. He positioned the ship for dual use: tourism during the summer and accommodation for Black Sea energy projects in winter.
In 2024, he represented Turkey and Greece’s cruise routes at FITUR Cruises in Madrid, showcasing the region’s cruise potential to international investors and tour operators. Fluent in Turkish, English, and German, Erler actively fosters global partnerships and continues to contribute to the growth of cruise tourism.
