The first time David moderated a panel of any kind was at the International Cruise Summit in 2012. Since then he has gone on to moderate panels and direct conferences across Europe, the USA, Canada, Russia and China.
His expertise is in itinerary planning and has run a number of general sessions for CLIA (Cruise Line International Association) at its Executive Partner Summits. He uses his expertise in his consultancy work with Travelyields Ltd. www.travelyields.com in producing cruise call volume forecasts for ports and investors seeking to make infrastructure investments for the future. In addition, he has a number of port and destination partners, with whom he works on marketing activity.
He was managing director of Thomson Cruises – now Marella Cruises – from 2000-2011. He lives with his family north of London, is a keen golfer and passionate to support the development of young adults with learning difficulties.
