Alex Zeitz, Sr. Manager, Customer & Employee Experience Virgin Voyages

Alex Zeitz joined Virgin Voyages in September 2018, where he enthusiastically designs, develops, and delivers a collection of end-to-end Sailor (customer) experiences. Specifically, Alex represents the customer voice in everything land-based: from call-flow, to embark/ debark, to the port selection, to onshore experiences: The Beach Club at Bimini, Shore Things (ShoreEx), and new terminal development. In addition to this work, Alex also co-leads the strategy behind global recruitment, onboarding, growth (training), engagement, and recognition portfolio of work. Lastly, Alex is the brand champion for further weaving-in belonging, inclusion, and an equitable approach to processes, policies, and upward momentum.

Before charting course to Virgin Voyages, Alex was with Disney Cruise Line & Adventures by Disney where he led the corporate side of the overall development, implementation, and management of the service program: VIP Program & Premium Guest Experience Planning & Development; Fulfillment of Marketing, PR, and Media Events; Employee & Operating Participant Benefit Program; International Travel Industry Services; and Wedding Planning & Development.

Achievements include: Driving the highest per capita spending on record for a key business; 91% excellent service rating; improving upgrade revenues up by $1.75 million, being nominated for the Virgin Stars of the Year award, and receiving the Walt Disney Legacy Award, Partners in Excellence award, and the United States Presidential Service Award.
