Niamh is the CEO of Excursions Ireland who have established themselves as the leading provider of ground services to international cruise lines visiting the island of Ireland. With over 25 years’ experience in the Irish tourism industry and 4 years working in the on board shore excursions department, firstly at NCL and then as manager at Crystal Cruises, Niamh is the ideal ambassador for Ireland as a cruise destination. In addition to her endless commitment to providing a complete, flawless service to each cruise line visiting Ireland, Niamh is involved with many of the organisations that make her island such an attractive tourist destination. Amongst other contributions, Niamh is regularly part of the team responsible for tour guide selection and training both in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland and her dedication to the success of Irish tourism and in particular cruise tourism is far-reaching and knows no bounds. Niamh’s passion and commitment to her industry is acknowledged throughout the cruising world. Niamh is a founder member of Cruise Ireland – the cross border marketing body for Cruise on the Island of Ireland. Her company is also a member of TWLGO – The World’s Leading Ground Operators. Excursions Ireland have won numerous awards and Niamh has been to the forefront of this success. Niamh has also been nominated twice as ‘CEO of the year’ in the prestigious Image Businesswomen of the Year Awards.
