Andrea is German, born and raised in Bremen. Andrea spent nearly two years in High school in California and has a college degree in economics/foreign languages.
Andrea has spent more than 20 years in the cruise industry, working first for TrancOcean Kreuzfahrten (Bremen) in the Customer Service/Group Department. Andrea spent several years abroad in Greece and Cyprus, working as a Public/Guest Relations Manager in various 4- and 5-star Hotels. Andrea then returned to Germany with TransOcean Kreuzfahrten, starting in Sales in 2004, later as Director of Sales and Marketing from 2010 until 2013. Andrea then worked for A-ROSA Fluss Kreuzfahrten (Rostock), as Director Sales, from 2013 until 2015;  Silversea Cruises (Frankfurt), Director Sales DACH, from 2015 until end of 2017. Andrea then founded VIVA Cruises (Düsseldorf) in 2018 together with Arno Reitsma, Owner of Scylla AG.
