
Daniel Caprile is VP Pricing & Revenue Management, Itinerary and Trasportation after an extensive experience by holding different key roles positions within Costa. In his role he has the objective to continue to significantly contribute to the revenues of the Company, crafting the best experience itineraries, ensuring the best accessibilities to ships for Guest and Crew and optimizing Yield through pricing and inventory levers.
Daniel joined the Company in 2007 from the TELCO industry where he started his professional career. He has an extensive experience in revenue management, where he took the lead in creating and developing the system for pricing optimization resulting into a more effective enhancement of the pricing model.
He then started his sales/commercial career being appointed as Revenue Management Director and Commercial Excellence at Ibero Cruceros and Costa Spain. In this role he was particularly successful in managing the seamless merge phase of the two companies resulting into positive and effective financial results. In 2015 he was asked to manage the Italian market before as Sales director and then as Commercial Director. During this phase he was able to make stronger the relationships with Travel Agencies on the territory and to develop a Direct Sales business.
Before holding his actual position, Daniel was appointed as Commercial Intelligence and Transformation Director, and his main task was to ensure a business revamp and the integrated development of the commercial strategy and its execution. He was appointed as VP in 2022.
