
Eithne Williamson is the vice president of Princess Cruises UK and Europe and is responsible for leading the sales and commercial functions, as well as marketing communications and guest services across UK and Europe.
Playing a pivotal role in shaping Princess Cruises’ presence in the UK and European markets, Williamson has led the team to record revenue performance since joining in 2022. Williamson has overseen the line’s best-ever Black Friday sale, largest-ever trade engagement programme - with a record number of UK and Europe travel agents hosted onboard a Princess ship in one year - and large-scale projects such as the launch of the ‘Good Food Show at Sea’, an industry first.
Having worked within the Carnival Corporation since September 2014, Williamson’s previous positions included vice president Fleet People Operations at Carnival UK, chair of Carnival Support Services India and marketing communications director for P&O Cruises. Prior to joining Carnival, Williamson spent over 12 years working in advertising and marketing across brands in the Lloyds Banking Group. During this tenure, Williamson’s responsibilities included leading and supporting the marketing communications team through the banking crisis.
Eithne Williamson is also part of the Executive Committee for Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) for UK & Ireland.
