Juan C Trescastro joined Virgin Voyages in February, 27th 2019. As Sr Director, Itineraries, Destinations and Government Relations, Juan is helping curate an ​Epic Sea Change by developing fantastic destinations for our sailor, Juan is responsible for the development of itineraries for our voyages, destination development of shore excursions and managing the relationship with governments globally for the company.
Before joining Virgin Voyages, Juan served as President for Metro Cruise Services, where he oversaw all aspects of the company that serviced the cruise line industry with shore services such as Stevedoring, Ground, Agency, Shore excursions, Security, Terminal management and Events. Prior to that, Juan held the position of Vice President, port operation, GPS and Cape Liberty Cruise Port LLC with Royal Caribbean Cruise LTD, where he was responsible for port operations, terminal management, terminal construction and development at 475 ports in 107 countries.
Originally from Los Angeles/CA, Juan now resides in Miami/FL with his wife, Judy. Juan received his MBA degree from Columbia State University. He is a member of the CLIA Port and Destination committee and the Government Relations committee. He is also passionate about protecting children and has served as the Chair of the board of directors for the Kristi House an organization that coordinates the services for children that have suffered child sexual abuse.
