Graduated in Communication Sciences from the Autonomous University of Lisbon.
Linked to specialised journalism in tourism, hotels and restaurants at the start of her career, in 2005 she joined the Port Authority of the Autonomous Region of Madeira as a senior technician, always in charge of the commercial area for cruise tourism.She embraced the Madeira-Canary Islands partnership from the outset as a coordinator. In 2023 she became Commercial and PR Director of Portos da Madeira and took part in the creation of the most recent International Association of Macaronesian Island Ports.’
