Roberto Bruzzone
Senior Vice President, Global Marine Operations Silversea Cruises

Born and raised in Genoa, Italy, Roberto Bruzzone is currently the Senior Vice President of Global Marine Operations for Royal Caribbean Group, overseeing the operations of the Silversea, TUI, and Hapag Lloyd fleets.
In this executive role, he is responsible for the safe and efficient management of 26 passenger vessels deployed worldwide across three different brands, along with the oversight of a newvessel currently under construction.
Prior to his current position, Roberto served as the Senior Vice President for Silversea, where he was responsible for the global operations of Silversea’s ultra-luxury fleet, which services more than 900 destinations, including remote expedition areas. In this capacity, Roberto led multiple departments including Marine and Technical Operations, Ports Operations, HR and Crewing, Technical Procurement, Medical Operations, New build and Refurbishment gaining comprehensive insights into various aspects of the cruise business and fleet operations.
Roberto has nearly 20 years of extensive experience in the cruise and shipbuilding industry, having held various roles at major international cruise lines. Known for his people-centric approach, results-drivenmind set, and high integrity, he began his career as a steel inspector immediately after graduation.Through hands-on experience and dedication, he ascended to executive positions across the three major corporations in the cruise industry.
During a 14-year tenure at a large cruise corporation, Roberto spent five years as Vice President ofTechnical Operations, leading the Corporate Newbuild Technical Team. Subsequently, he became theChief Operating Officer for the New building Division of another global cruise holding, where hemanaged large teams of professionals and oversaw vast capital investments.
Roberto is a Chartered Naval Architect and Marine Engineer, holding a five years Master’s Degree as well as an Executive MBA from the London Business School. He has studied in the United States, Italy, and London. Additionally, he is a member of the Lloyds Register Technical Committee, the RINA Technical Committee, the Italian Decarbonization Committee, and the RINA North European AdvisoryCommittee.
Roberto is married to Antonella and is the father of two children, Alba and Diana. He is fluent in bothItalian and English.
