Serafin Blazquez holds 26 years of cruise strategic leadership and operational expertise, with a proven record of driving business growth, optimizing profitability, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
He joined Cruise Saudi in March 2021 as Executive Director - Port, Terminal & Asset Operations, and was appointed Executive Director, Operations in May 2024. Possessing a deep understanding of the cruise industry, with a strong focus on team development, stakeholder management, investor relationship and financial performance, Blazquez’s role involves overseeing and optimizing all operational aspects related to terminals, port management and shore excursions for Cruise Saudi, supporting the company’s ambitions in establishing Saudi as a globally recognised cruise destination, and welcoming over 1.3 million cruise passenger visits per year by 2035.
Prior to joining Cruise Saudi, Blazquez held director and managerial roles at leading European port operators Global Ports Holding and Intercruises Shoreside and Port Services. He has extensive experience in overseeing all aspects of cruise operations, from port and terminal management to onboard and destination services.
