Wassim leads a global team that oversees the PONANT Sustainable Impact strategy and programs that focus on making positive, lasting impact on the planet, people, and the communities that company serves. Wassim brings more than 20 years of experience in a variety of sustainability roles. Under his leadership PONANT has been classified as the most sustainable cruise company by the NGO NABU in 2020. In 2023, PONANT was the first cruise line to obtain Green Globe Certification.
