Spyros Almpertis born in Piraeus, Greece. Ex Navy Officer has been working for the last 30 years in the cruise industry handling important management positions ashore and on board for multiple cruise lines. Spyros has an incomparable experience in port operations, itinerary planning, and fleet management.
‍During his 25 years career with many cruise lines, he managed different departments ashore and on board. The last several years he worked for Silversea Cruises in Monaco managing all vessels & ports around the world as Senior Director worldwide Port Operation.  During COVID-19 restrictions he efficiently managed the fleets that he was in charge of, reinforcing global safety protocols, and allowing a prompt and successful return-to-service. His valuable skills in building a global network of trusted port agents, and assuring safe turnarounds at different ports around the world, earned Spyros the appreciation of both ashore and onboard colleagues all over the industry. Since September 2022 he decided to move a head with his career joining A&K Group & the new Crystal Cruise under Mr Manfrendi, the ex owner of Silversea cruises taking the position of Vice President Port Ops, Itinerary Planning and Fuel Management
